Privacy Policy

Last Updated: January 2026

Welcome to Techbombers. We spend our days deconstructing hardware and software, but we never “deconstruct” your privacy. This page explains in plain English what information we collect when you visit us and, more importantly, what we don’t do with it.

The “No-Nonsense” Promise

We are tech enthusiasts, not data brokers. We don’t sell your personal information to third parties, and we don’t track you across the web just to show you creepy ads. We only collect what is strictly necessary to keep the site running and the technical guides coming.

What We Collect (And Why)

  • Comments: If you leave a tip or a question on a post, we see your name (or handle) and email. This helps us stop spam and reply to your technical queries.
  • Contact Forms: When you email us for support or a hardware review, we keep that email so we can talk back to you. We don’t add these to marketing lists unless you specifically ask us to.
  • Cookies & Analytics: We use small files called “cookies” to see which of our guides are the most popular. We use Google Analytics for this, but it’s anonymized—we see “a user from London read the hardware guide,” not “Charly read the hardware guide.”

Your “UK GDPR” Rights

Because we operate on a .co.uk domain, you have the highest level of protection under UK law. You are in the driver’s seat:

  • The Right to Know: You can ask us what data we have on you.
  • The Right to Forget: You can ask us to delete your comments or contact history at any time.
  • The Right to Correct: If we got something wrong, tell us, and we’ll fix it.

How We Keep Things Secure

We use industry-standard encryption (SSL) to make sure that any data moving between your phone/computer and our server is locked tight. Since we focus on “Systems,” we take our own site’s security very seriously.

Third-Party Links

Our guides often link to hardware manufacturers or software tools. Once you click those links and leave Techbombers, their privacy rules apply, not ours. Always give their policy a quick look!
